OHS Mission Statement:
Othello High School, a partnership of teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, parents and community, will help students achieve immediate and future success both personally and professionally. Our goal is to promote life-long learning so that students will become responsible citizens in our ever-changing society.

Mr. Matthew Stevens was born in Richland, WA and raised in Chelan, WA. He graduated from Chelan High School, Home of the Goats, in 1988. He has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from BYU in Business Management-Finance in 1994. After working in retail management, for a year, he attended CWU and earned a B.S. in Business Education and qualified for a teaching certificate. He earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and a K-12 Principal’s certificate from CWU in 2000. Mr. Stevens worked at Othello High School teaching business for four years. He was the assistant principal at Othello High School for five years. In his fifth year, he was half-time assistant principal at OHS and half-time ALPS Principal and District Assessment Coordinator. Mr. Stevens enjoys working and living in Othello because of the good people who reside here. He was married in August of 1994. He has five children and enjoys spending time with them playing games, sports, and fishing.
