Special Education Services

Children with developmental concerns or disabilities affecting their performance in school may be eligible for individualized services through the Special Education Department.  Based on the individual needs of the student, an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is crafted and implemented.

Special education services are incorporated in all of the schools, each one supported by highly qualified staff.   A cadre of special education personnel, including special education teachers from preschool through high school, speech therapists, an occupational therapist, a behavior specialist and school psychologists work as a team to develop a program to meet the unique needs our students with disabilities.

If you suspect your child has a developmental delay or disability and may need special education services, please contact your child's teacher.  A Student Support Team will meet together with you to develop an intervention plan which may include an evaluation for special education services
